www.ecomdegree.com · Version 1.0 · Effective October 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Ecom Degree LLC, doing business as Ecom Degree University, uses cookies and similar technologies on www.ecomdegree.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We also use pixels, tags, web beacons, local storage and software development kits, which work similarly. In this policy we call all of them cookies.
| Category | What it does | Can you switch it off? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Makes the Site work: page delivery, security, load balancing, remembering your cookie choices and your form entries. | No. The Site cannot function without these. |
| Performance and analytics | Tells us which pages are viewed, for how long, from where, and where visitors leave, so we can improve the Site. Deployed through Google Tag Manager. | Yes |
| Functional | Remembers preferences such as a chosen video quality or a dismissed message. | Yes |
| Advertising and targeting | Set by advertising platforms so that campaigns can be measured and so that advertising can be shown to you on other sites and apps. This is the category treated as sharing or sale under some state privacy laws. | Yes |
We use Google Tag Manager to deploy tags. Through it, analytics and advertising providers may set cookies, including providers operating the advertising platforms on which we run campaigns. Those providers act as independent controllers of the information they collect and their own privacy policies apply.
The specific providers change as our advertising changes. The current list is shown in the cookie preference center linked in the Site footer, which is updated when a provider is added or removed.
A. Use the cookie preference center linked in the Site footer to accept or reject each optional category. You can change your choice at any time.
B. Set a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser or extension. We honor it as an opt-out of sale and sharing.
C. Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the Site working.
D. Use the advertising platforms' own opt-out tools and your device's advertising identifier settings.
Rejecting optional cookies does not reduce your access to the Site, change any price, or affect any right you have.
Browsers may send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, and we do not respond to Do Not Track signals. We do respond to Global Privacy Control signals, as described above.
We may update this policy. The version and effective date appear at the foot of every page. Questions may be sent to support@ecomdegreeuniversity.com.
